just today saw this race in laguna seca. (this very car too! number 3) i saw it and i could not beleive i was seeing such an unusual car... racing none the less! it started in first and for the whole race did not see one other car besides lapping. absolutly stagering car.
I first saw the P34 back in the Seventies ( showing my age ) at Silverstone. Jody Schecker drove it as a display lap for the British GP. Very Very Spectacular. I'll bet I still have it on 8mm somewhere, Must dig it out and get it on Youtude.
As for seeing it at Laguna Seca you lucky Bod! There are but two tracks in the world I want to drive, One is Spa in Belgium, the second is Laguna Seca.........One day......One day
Hi, Thanks for the comments. and Yes I too loved this car when it was racing. There's plenty of footage on youtube you know. I also have a version of Ronnie Peterson in his six wheeler. I'll put in the gallery.
Six wheels are so much more exciting the two......don't you think.
Lady Penelope's Rolls, The Hustler 6, the March 240 and I think a Williams, Range Rover had one too. But the P34 was the best.
